About the Project

Social Motive, a Melbourne-based content marketing agency, engaged Moolah Digital to work on a brand refresh and new website (still in progress).

Founded in 2014, Social Motive has grown from a one-person show to a fully-fledged agency. They therefore wanted a new brand that would reflect this transformation and position themselves as a fun and bold agency that are also experts when it comes to all things content marketing.

The name Social Motive had been inspired by the workings of Susan Fiske who identified 5x core social motives that influence the pscyhology behind people’s thought processes:

  • Belonging
  • Understanding
  • Controlling
  • Identity
  • Trust

We incorporated this meaning into the design of the logo and brandmark.

Benefits/End Result

Social Motive now has a bold and colourful look that better represents them as a team, their dream clients and the foundations Social Motive was built on.
